Part of the Book of Donkeys is this colored pencil sketch.  It is based on a photo from Latin America, I think it was Panama.

Another sketch, this time it is in pencil.  It is a long haired burro.

Mule Study

I did something different, I did a whole small sketchbook of Donkeys, Mules, and Burros fro my parents.  It was fun for me and they enjoy them.  This is the cover art done in oil.

"Whale" Box

I have a Coast Guard neighbor with an artistic flair.  They decorated their mail box as a "Whale" box. I could not resist and painted it.

Plein Air Great Falls Virginia Oil

Friday, I went with Artist Armand Cabrera and did a Plein Air painting of the Great Falls in Virginia.  This is where the Potomac river comes over granite rocks and spills down into the DC area.  This is a decent attempt on a 8 by 10 inch canvas board.  I did this in about 1 1/2 hours.

Samurai Tiger

This is not an original design but I liked it so I use it as a practice piece.  This was done in ink marker and brush markers.
