Happy Sunday, I worked on a Bull Elk Sumi with black ink brush and grey marker.

Elk Maiden - More work again

A long weekend of work on the house with kitchen demo.  So not a lot of time to paint, but I did put some time into this.  I worked on the far background reflection and some of the shadow on the left of the Maiden.  I worked a little on the fur and defining her head.  The water reflection  is going to be the hard part of this painting.

Wolf - Ink Sketch

I inked this Wolf Sketch tonight after a day of work at the office.  It is a nice way to relax and finish up the week.

Dachshund Sketch

I worked on this this evening after a long day at work.  This is a simple Dachshund sketch.  Very interesting dogs with crazy bodies.

Sumi Fish

i took a break from the Elk painting and worked on these Sumi style fishes.   I used multiple grey markers, two colors of green markers and black highlights with ink brush.

Elk Maiden - More Work

I continue to tweak the water reflection and the body.  All the little work os adding up to more of what i want to accomplish with this painting.

I worked on this tonight,   I mostly covered up the canvas and worked the water reflection which will be the most difficult part.

Elk Maiden in the Spa - Block-in

I blocked in this Elk Maiden in the water near Estes Park, Colorado.  This is the largest painting I have ever tried, it is a 30 inches by 40 inch oil painting.

Whale Box for Mail painting

I meant to work on this for the 4h of July but, the fireworks got me.  The need to light them and watch them blow up and sparkle.  So I worked on this today after yard work.  This is the block on in oil paint of a Blue Whale decorated mailbox with a patriot flag for good measure.

Oriole Sumi

Happy Tuesday, It's part of the Sumi series.  Ink brush with colored marker.  I like how these are progressing.  Relaxing and a pretty good sketch after work.

Rooster

Happy Monday, I worked on a Rooster mostly with the ink brush, with a little red marker.

I worked some more with the Ink Brush and the markers.  The black is all ink brush and everything else is markers.
