Merry Christmas,  I have not posted in a while since I have been working on presents and other things which cannot be posted yet.  I will endeavor to post more in the coming weeks.  Happy Holidays!

La Jolla Beach Commissions finished

I finished and shipped my La Jolla Beach commission.  This is an oil painting 11 x 14 inches and was a fun challenge of waves and blues.

Solomon's Island Bridge Plein Air

This is a small Plein Air study I did from the Pier Restaurant at Solomon's Island looking west to the sunset.  It finally dried enough to put it on the scanner.  It was a fun one and a bit of a challenge.  It came out decent for the time I had to get it down.

Drum Point Lighthouse Cupola

This is a block in for a nocturne (night time) oil painting of the Drum Point Lighthouse at Calvert County Maritime Museum.  The Drum Point Lighthouse was pulled off the its location and not resides at the museum.  This painting will need some highlights and some tweaks to complete but it is a great start.

Ocracoke Lighthouse

This is an oil painting of the Ocracoke Lighthouse on Ocracoke Island in North Carolina.  It is a smaller lighthouse near the small harbor on the island.  It is well worth the ferry ride to the island. Just don't go in summer as the crowds are bad.

Turkey Early

I have been working on this for a bit.  I am mostly done with this Turkey and it is almost ready for next week's Thanksgiving Day.

Michigan City Indiana Lighthouse

This is a large studio painting of the sunset at the Michigan City Indiana Lighthouse.  This is based off a photo, notes and the plein air sketch I did of the structure.  This is 90% done, I will probably make some small tweaks to this one, but it is done.
