Turkey Early

I have been working on this for a bit.  I am mostly done with this Turkey and it is almost ready for next week's Thanksgiving Day.

Michigan City Indiana Lighthouse

This is a large studio painting of the sunset at the Michigan City Indiana Lighthouse.  This is based off a photo, notes and the plein air sketch I did of the structure.  This is 90% done, I will probably make some small tweaks to this one, but it is done.

Plein Air - Skyline Drive

This is a Plein Air painting from a couple of weeks ago.  It has dried enough to scan it.  I struggled with getting the difference between the greens and the oranges of the changing foliage.  Still a lot of work to get it down.

La Jolla California Block in

This is a commission I am working on.  It is a a beach scene near La Jolla California and I doing this in oils.  I need to fix my cliff area and make some adjustments but it is getting close to being done.

Pug Royalty

Today is my Sister's Birthday and she loves her Pugs.  They are royalty in her house.   This is an ink brush and marker sketch.

Oil Study Cottonwood trees

This is an oil study of Cottonwood trees.  Tonight's work, is part of on not ever returning to being a wage slave. I am practicing as much art work as possible and only want to be my own boss.  The Artist King.

Oil Study - Rocky Mountains

This is an oil painting study I did in practice for some of the paintings I want to do from some of the things I saw in Glacier National Park in Montana.
