Tulip Spring and Windmill - final (mostly)

I think I am mostly done with the Tulips and Windmill.  I might let this rest and make some small adjustments.  This was a fun painting which mostly went together with out a lot of problems or issues.  It is 11 inches by 14 inches, so one of my bigger oil paintings in a while.

Happy Birthday, Sophia!

Today is my niece's birthday, so Happy Birthday Sophia.  She is going to Africa soon so I think these sketches of the welcoming committee are a pretty good card.

Hands Clasp Sketch

I usually draw when I am on flights.  I am captive for the length of the flight and it is a good way to make the time go by.  This is a pencil sketch.

Tulips Spring and Windmill- second steps

I sat out the cold spring day and worked more on the Tulips Spring in the Netherlands.  You can see I worked the Tulip beds and the clouds.

Leaping Labrador Sketch

This scan and sketch was close to the fold of the sketchbook, so it was not a good scan.  The sketch is in pencil and part of the Dog Sketchbook.
