I am back painting, I had to take a work trip and did not get any work done.  I added the start of the water reflection added details to the rocks, the fountain, and I started on the fur of the rabbit.

Last night I did this sketch with just the skeleton, so tonight I added the muscles in pencil.

I some times feel like this at the day job.  Well this is modeled after the medieval or masters style of drawing the skeleton, then the muscles, and then add the clothing and facial features.  Tomorrow I will add the muscles.

Red Chalk sketch - Man falling

More of an experiment in red chalk and white chalk on grey paper.  I did his quickly as something new.  I am not happy with the proportions but it is needed as practice.

Airplane Art, or what I do while captive on a plane

I am getting back from some work travel.  When I fly on a plane, I work on these type of quick pencil sketches.  This one is of a toddler with bed head hair.  It is done with regular pencil.

African Violet Watercolor

Today's post is a Watercolor of African Violets for my sister-in-law, Michelle's Birthday.  She loves African Violets and grows them really well.

Skeleton dive sketch

This is a red chalk experiment with a diving skeleton.  Sketching skeletons are part of the way you develop your anatomy skills.  Next would be to add the muscles and then clothing.
