Old School Haunted House - block-in

The wife loves Halloween so I am doing her this old school style Haunted House painting in Oil.  This is the block-in to get the major shapes and design in place.

Perspective Drill

Busy weekend on the Honey Do list, i.e. the wife had me working sweat equity on the house in the form of bath room remodeling, so not a lot of complex art work done.  So I focused on drawing a little each day and this is part of the work on basic skills.

Perspective Tower

More time on the basics, this is working three vanishing points for this sketch of blocks which sort of reminds me of skyscrapers.

Practicing the perspective

I felt I needed to practice some basics, just like practicing scales on the piano.  So I have been working on some of these and have a bunch I want to work on so I can get my other drawings good on the perspective  with out a ruler.

Pedro the Pug

My sister has three Pug dogs, this one is Pedro, who likes to fetch rocks.  I used colored pencils and Pentel pens on this one.

Perspective practice

I decided to loop back into doing some basics review. So I am doing some review and did these drawings of different perspective, which is the way to represent three dimensional images in two dimensions.

Pokemon Go - Niece's Birthday

My niece here in Maryland had a birthday this week, she is into Pokeman Go.  So I drew her this Bulbasaur character.  So Happy Birthday Alyssa!
