Great Dane sketch

I am on the road so I am scheduling some older sketches.  This was drawn with a multi-colored lead pencil, so you never know exactly which color will be laid done while you work out the sketch.  I have a few of these pencils in various color combinations of lead.

More pencil work tonight, this is literally the forest thru the trees.  I am working on being able to built layers with the pencil and this will build towards better paintings.

Back to trees, I sketched this evening while the wife watches HGTV and plots remodels with my spare time.  Oh well, I prefer to sketch.

Happy Monday, I use false motivation to keep me motivated for the regular job.  d to run around after work to help the daughter with car trouble, so did not have a lot of time to work on anything.  I did get a little pencil time and knocked out this study of Aspen trees.
