I worked this cloud study in oil today in King George, Virginia.  I am working on doing more Plein Air painting to improve my observational skills.

Union Army Re-enactor sketch

I worked on this the yesterday and tonight.  This is a pencil sketch.  I last year wanted to do 50 head sketches and did about 25.  So now I am continuing on to the 50.

This is the other painting from the other day.  I painted this at Massey's Corner near the Blue Ridge of Virginia.

Skyline Drive Plein Air Virginia

This is one of two paintings I did today while out Plein Air painting in Virginia.  this is on Skyline Drive in Virginia.  It is part of the Blue ridge National Park.  I did this in about two hours in oil paint.

Brush Lion

I have retired from the day job and it has been a busy couple of months breaking off from it.  I have not been able to post or art as much.   I will be fixing this and posting more.
